Nothing needs to be installed. Learn GTO runs entirely in your browser on desktop and mobile, and the equity engine executes in a Web Worker on your own device, which is why results are instant and why nothing you type is uploaded.

Learn GTO works on a phone and was designed for one first. Every control is reachable with a thumb, results collapse into a bar you can tap to expand, and card entry works by tapping or by typing a rank and a suit, “as” for the ace of spades. It can also be installed to a home screen and opened like an app.

No account is needed today. Everything works as it is, and your progress is stored in your browser rather than on a server, which is why it does not follow you between devices and why clearing site data clears it. If accounts arrive it will be so that progress can follow you, and this answer will change with them.

Learn GTO works offline in part. Every page is a static file and every calculation happens on your device, so a page you have already loaded keeps working with no connection. Pages you have not visited still need to be fetched once.

The range charts print from the browser at full resolution, because they are rendered as real markup rather than as images. They stay legible in black and white too: the raising range is distinguished by fill as well as by colour.

The course is for players who already know the rules and the hand rankings and want the maths underneath them. It covers preflop ranges, pot odds, counting outs, equity, board texture and GTO frequencies, and it does not teach you what a flush is.

The course is 14 units, 103 lessons and 833 graded questions, and how long it takes depends entirely on how quickly the answers start coming out right. There is nothing to watch and no running time to sit through: every lesson is played, and each unit ends in a review you have to pass before the next one opens.
